The GeoPlace Annual Conference 2026 is officially in the diary – and it’s set to be another unmissable event for address and street data professionals across the UK.
Following the success of the 2025 conference – which welcomed over 500 delegates, 25 exhibitors and partners, alongside a full programme of expert speakers and discussions – the 2026 event promises to be just as insightful and impactful.
Further details, including the full programme, speaker line-up and registration information, which I hope to be able to share with you in the coming weeks.
Solent Streetworks is very much looking forward to attending GeoPlace Annual Conference 2026!
About GeoPlace LLP
Recognised internationally as experts in address and street information management, GeoPlace works across the UK and globally to help partners and customers maximise the value of spatial data for better decision-making.
National Infrastructure & Data Excellence
GeoPlace maintains the national infrastructure supporting address and street information for both the public and private sectors. This work relies on close collaboration with every local authority in England and Wales – partnerships that have been developed over more than 15 years.
Their work underpins:
- The National Address Gazetteer (NAG)
- The National Street Gazetteer (NSG)
From these datasets:
- Ordnance Survey develops the AddressBase range of products from the NAG.
- OS MasterMap Highways Network is created from the NSG.
Together, these datasets support efficient, effective services and deliver tangible benefits across planning, emergency services, utilities, logistics, and beyond.
Unique Property Reference Numbers (UPRNs)
At the heart of GeoPlace’s infrastructure are unique reference numbers that link datasets and enable secure information sharing between organisations. These identifiers provide a comprehensive and consistent reference throughout a property’s lifecycle – from planning permission and street naming, through to occupation, change of use, and demolition.
Stay Tuned
The GeoPlace Annual Conference continues to be a key date in the sector calendar, bringing together data professionals, local authorities, partners and industry leaders for an inspiring day of collaboration and innovation.
