Role Description
This is a contract role for a Street Works Coordinator. The Street Works Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating street works projects on a day-to-day basis. This includes liaising with stakeholders, obtaining necessary permits, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing the progress and quality of works. This is a hybrid role, with the primary location being Southampton but with flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications
Strong knowledge and experience in street works and NRSWA regulations
Excellent coordination and project management skills
Ability to obtain necessary permits and coordinate with local authorities
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in relevant software and technology
Experience in the construction or infrastructure industry is a plus
Relevant certification in Street Works or related field

Role to be contract based only, either sole trader or via own Limited Company. Remuneration on a day rate and the amount of which is dependent on experience, but would be £14-£16ph.
