Anchor Group Services are proud to announce the development of their new HGV Route Management solution using automatic number plate recognition (ANPR).
The management of HGV traffic and the concerns this causes to residents is often a barrier to planning permission being granted for new warehousing, logistics hubs, and distribution centres.
This innovative solution has enabled them to manage this concern and aid the acceptance of planning consent. By being able to evidence that HGVs are complying with route restrictions and providing a means for reporting, and further action in the event that they don’t, they can enable clients to meet their obligations and protect the interests and safety of the local community.
A unique solution created by Anchor and managed by their parking division, Ocean Parking; this new service uses ANPR technology to manage the routes of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) coming to, from, and whilst on site.
